Relocation fees - GP Registrars

You may be happy to learn that you can claim relocation fees if you are a GP Registrar and moving home. The NHS doesn't make it easy to find out how to do this... so we thought we would help you. If anyone knows of any other ways of claiming money back from then please email us using our contact form.

The main areas in which you can claim are:


1. Expenses of Home Purchase and House Sale (p14) which include

Solicitors fees

Stamp duty

Land registration fees

Incidental legal expenses

Private survey fees

Electrical wiring test

Drains test

Abandoned Purchase


2. Expenses During Search for Accommodation (p 11)


3. Excess Daily Travelling Expenses


4. Miscellaneous Expenses Grant (p 16)- listed below is a few of the items that you can claim if you are moving home (and ...yes.. you can even claim for piano tuning!

Installation of TV aerial

Plumbing in a washing machine

Connection of cooker

Piano tuning!

 

5.Payment of rent of unoccupied property (p 18)
